The world has changed, and is continuing to change, in ways both small and epic, painful and beautiful. One of our most potent tools for processing massive change (or just life itself) is storytelling. Practicing the art of telling our own stories can help us sequence events for meaning, understand ourselves more deeply, and articulate the ways the world has shaped us, while we take a stab at shaping the world right back.

In this six week fall intensive, you will be supported in mastering the art of live true personal storytelling for radio, podcast, or stage, a la The Moth or Back Fence PDX. You will be given the tools of story construction, discover what makes the best stories so memorable, practice constructing and telling stories from your own personal life material, and receive expert feedback on your delivery.
