Live Zoom with Amber Tamblyn & Mindy Nettifee on Election Day Eve
IYKYK, Amber Tamblyn and I are old friends, bonded through our love and intensity about both poetry and politics. We spent election day 2016 together at the Javitz Center in New York City, chosen for its glass ceiling, waiting to celebrate the first woman to be elected president. Several apocalypses later, Amber is writing and creating community over at her Listening In the Dark substack (named for her incredible book on women and intuition). She has several features for paid subscribers, and one is a monthly live event series called The Short and Sweet. For the November event, I will be her guest, and we will be meeting the day before this historic election – Monday, November 4th at 6pm PST / 9pm EST to talk about our big election feelings and my work at the intersection of creativity and trauma healing. I will also be guiding a practice for grounding the all the excess charge that will be circulating through our personal and collective nervous systems, so we can move through the week feeling clear and connected. To join, become a paid subscriber to Listening in the Dark or my substack In the River of What’s Happening Now, or both! Zoom links will get emailed out that Monday!
